Growing up, art was the world I escaped into. All of its manifestations seemed so mystical and captivating. As if there was a dimension accessible only through the creation and inspection of artworks. A dimension I had to reach.
Being a curious child, I explored many forms of artistic expression. From dance to painting, I was eager to uncover the possibilities within each art form. But writing. Writing makes my heart flutter.
Coming from a multicultural background, I strive for artistic freedom in telling the stories of those unable to express them. Having completed journalistic studies, the search for truth remains the primary inspiration behind my novels. Only heartfelt truth deserves to be held on to.
Raised in Ukraine and then Russia, I completed my Bachelor’s degree in Hungary, pursuing my Master’s in the Netherlands. Knowledge and research have always been the foundation of excellent work, and I believe understanding one’s predecessors’ visions is essential for producing meaningful output.
This is why I obtained degrees in Art History and Russian Literature at Eötvös Loránd University, along with journalistic studies at Mathias Corvinus Collegium. I had amazing mentors, such as Tibor Fischer, Julius Strauss, Sasho Dimoski, and Enikő Eszenyi, who provided invaluable feedback and encouragement.
